Programmes & age groups

Finding the right development stage

Dante Football Academy supports the following age groups across five development stages:

  • U9: ages 8 to 9
  • U11: ages 10 to 11
  • U13: ages 12 to 13
  • U15: ages 14 to 15
  • U17: ages 16 to 17
  • U19: ages 18 to 19
  • Senior: ages 20+

  • Youth Development: U9, age 8 to 9 and U11, age 10 to 11
  • Junior Development: U13, age 12 to 13
  • Youth Academy: U15, age 14 to 15 and U17, age 16 to 17
  • Senior Youth / Transition: U19, age 18 to 19
  • Professional / Senior Development: Senior, age 20+

Training schedules, assessment dates and applicable fees are provided directly following an initial enquiry.

No. Dante's development philosophy also emphasises education, character, communication, teamwork, leadership and preparation for life beyond football.

DANTE aims to support football development and personal development together. Discipline, responsibility, confidence, respect and leadership are treated as important parts of a young player’s growth.

Protecting dignity and wellbeing

DANTE is committed to a safe and inclusive environment that respects dignity and wellbeing, protects players from abuse, bullying and discrimination, encourages positive role models and promotes mutual respect.

Photographs and videos may be used for official academy purposes. Appropriate consent is required where applicable, with particular care when players are minors. Sensitive personal information should not be published alongside a child’s photograph.
